The ceremony and reception are both at The Shores at Five Island! 14 North Lawler Street Emmetsburg, IA 50536

We ask that you RSVP by June 30, 2026. Click on the "RSVP" tab at the top of the page and enter your name.

Due to limited capacity, we ask that only attendees listed on the RSVP tab be in attendance.

Guests may arrive as early as 5:00 pm. The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm.

Outdoors! We are getting married on the waterfront!

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held indoors at the same location as the reception.

5:30 pm - Ceremony 6:00 pm - Cocktail hour 6:30 pm - Dinner 7:00 pm - Toasts 7:30 pm - Dance, Cake, Bouquet Toss, etc. 10:00 pm - Sparkler send off!

We ask that you wait to take pictures until after the ceremony. We want to give our photographer plenty of room to capture our special moments!

Yes! There is a wedding block at The Wild Rose Casino and Resort! You can find their website and other hotels in the area by clicking on "Travel" above.

There will be a keg of beer available. A full service cash bar is also available for you to purchase drinks of your choosing. Please drink responsibly!

Yes! We want you to be safe! You may leave vehicles in the parking lot overnight and pick them up the next morning!
